The Huawei Automotive Electric Control Technology Laboratory will play an important role in the Huawei Digital Power Business Unit in the advanced electric drive control, architectural development, design and strategic engineering of automotive applications such as drivetrain, DC-AC inverter and fusion driving component, advanced AI/cloud technology, etc. As an employee you will be part of the HUAWEI Automotive R&D Competence Center in Nuremberg.

Powertrain Mechanical Senior Engineer in the automotive field (m/f/d/)

Your Mission

  • Responsible for designing and developing gear transmissions, including parallel shaft gearboxes, planetary gearboxes, and ball screw assemblies.
  • Oversee the end-to-end development and delivery of NVH (Noise, Vibration, Harshness) characteristics for the transmission.
  • Manage key processes, including the manufacturing and assembly of transmissions.

Your Areas of Expertise

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, Thermophysics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in gearbox design and NVH analysis.
  • Proficient in using at least one 3D design tool.
  • Experience in end-to-end delivery of product characteristics.
  • Familiar with product or production site processes.
