Your role and responsibilities

Digitalization and IoT are increasing the need for robust connectivity solutions in our MOSD Drives portfolio. With the next-generation control platform, we are introducing embedded Ethernet fieldbus solutions, where OPC UA serves as the strategic backbone.

This role ensures the collection of external and internal requirements and develops a clear marketing and sales narrative supporting the ease of integration. You will align industrial Ethernet and OPC UA solutions with customer and market needs across different segments, collaborating with Sales, Product Management, and R&D to prioritize and drive implementation.

You will report to the Digital Lead, Motion System Drives, working in a hybrid model. The role contributes globally to the Motion System Drives division, with preferred locations in Germany (Mannheim) or Finland (Helsinki).

Main responsibilities include:

• Defining strategy and vision for Industrial Ethernet and OPC UA solutions within the product portfolio.
• Gathering market, customer, and internal requirements.
• Managing roadmaps and setting priorities in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Coordinating with product managers and development teams, supporting cross-divisional adoption.
• Developing customer value propositions for each segment and channel, ensuring clear communication and positioning.
• Planning and coordinating marketing activities and product launches.

Qualifications:

• Over 5 years of experience in process industries such as oil & gas, metals, mining, chemical, or cement.
• Strong expertise in Ethernet-based networks and protocols, especially OPC UA.
• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Process Engineering, or related fields.
• Proven experience in technical product management, including gathering customer needs, building roadmaps, and requirement prioritization.
• Knowledge of variable speed drives and customer needs is advantageous.
• Experience with design thinking and value proposition development.
• Ability to work independently with strong organizational and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
