We are seeking an experienced Data Platform Lead to manage and scale our Azure-based Data Platform team. This role is critical in developing our IoT and enterprise data ecosystem to support analytics, machine learning, and GenAI applications. You will oversee a team of data engineers and architects, ensuring the platform's scalability, security, and alignment with business needs.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Leadership & Team Management : Lead and develop the Data Platform team, promoting a culture of high performance, collaboration, and innovation.
2. End-to-End Platform Ownership : Oversee the design and evolution of a scalable, well-governed data platform based on Azure technologies and medallion architecture.
3. Data Strategy & Roadmap : Define and implement the strategic vision for the data platform in line with business goals.
4. Scalability & Performance : Develop frameworks for data ingestion, transformation, and storage optimized for high-volume IoT data.
5. Data Governance & Security : Implement governance models ensuring data quality, security, and compliance.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration : Partner with IT, R&D, Business, and Finance to support data-driven solutions.
7. Program & Project Leadership : Manage complex projects, ensuring effective execution and stakeholder alignment.
8. Technology & Innovation : Drive innovation in data processing, analytics, and AI/ML integration leveraging Azure and GenAI capabilities.

Minimum Qualifications :

• Proven leadership in managing and scaling data platform teams.
• Expertise in Azure Data Factory, Power BI, ADLS, Databricks, and lakehouse architectures.
• Strong background in IoT data processing and high-volume data pipelines.
• Experience with data governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and scalable ETL development.
• Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage large-scale programs.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging technical and business stakeholders.
