Head of Technical Unit (m/w/d) E-Mobility

Your Responsibilities

• As Technical Unit Leader, you are responsible for the economic success of your department and proactively manage the area with a constant focus on market developments and current trends.
• Coordinate the technical direction and development of your Technical Unit, considering a sustainable and cross-divisional corporate strategy.
• Monitor and steer the project portfolio's results, acquire new innovative projects together with our sales team, and build a sustainable customer network.
• Consider potentials within the automotive environment and expand the network to related industries such as special machinery, construction, and agricultural machinery.
• Hold technical and disciplinary responsibility for your team members and support their individual development and training.
• Responsible for both qualitative and quantitative personnel planning of the Technical Unit and ensure the high-quality build-up of expert teams.

Your Profile

• Several years of professional experience in a comparable position with a technical educational background.
• Expertise in the areas of batteries, power electronics, or electric machines, with a desire to expand this expertise.
• Experience in entrepreneurial thinking and acting, with a network in the automotive, construction, or agricultural machinery industries.
• Motivated to set a new standard in development services and possess a proactive hands-on mentality.
• Experience managing existing projects and actively involved in acquiring new projects within OEM/Tier 1 environments, with successful bid negotiations.
• Experience in both technical and disciplinary leadership of staff.
• Confident, assertive demeanor, excellent communication skills, and persuasiveness.
• Fluent German and English skills.
