What you'll do
- Set up and lead IT projects focused on implementing, upgrading, and optimizing inbound and outbound logistics, with a strong focus on transportation and freight management using SAP
- Plan and monitor project scope, milestones, deadlines, and resources, including budget management, in alignment with the IT strategy and project portfolio
- Ensure effective project risk management, reporting, and communication, including the preparation and follow-up of steering committee meetings
- Lead and support global standardization efforts and implement new organizational processes aligned with SAP ERP and S/4 HANA configurations to achieve high levels of business customer satisfaction
- Identify relevant innovations and recommend changes to current and future logistics applications
Who you are
- Proven track record in (co-)leading projects in supply chain-related applications with integrations to SAP in complex international organizations
- Experience in conducting study projects for business requirements, software selection, and process design
- In-depth experience with SAP TM implementations and rollouts; experience with other transportation management systems is a plus
- Solid understanding of agile and classic project management methods, ideally supported by certifications such as SCRUM, PMI, and/or Prince2
- Business-fluent in German and English, with strong communication, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills, a team player with a "can-do" mentality as well as willingness to travel regularly
