ETC is currently seeking a Production & Warehouse Manager to join our team in our Irschenberg location.

Responsibilities:

• Manage shipping and receiving at ETC GmbH.
• Coordinate shipping and receiving activities of Warehouse & Supply Chain personnel.
• Ensure customer priorities are met and duties are completed on time.
• Analyze transportation needs to meet customer delivery requirements.
• Develop procedures for the effective shipment of goods to meet customer needs.
• Coordinate compliance with international customs regulations and laws.
• Manage finished goods and service inventory.
• Manage vendor and carrier selection processes.
• Negotiate rate contracts with vendors and carriers.
• Assist in vendor and carrier selection.
• Establish routing guidelines for inbound and outbound goods.
• Monitor vendor and carrier performance.
• Prepare annual budgets and identify capital needs.
• Manage configuration of Rigging and HES equipment based on customer orders.
• Plan and schedule FDX production based on customer needs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Perform other tasks as assigned and complete special projects efficiently.
• Collaborate with the General Manager on facility maintenance topics.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with other departments to establish responsibilities.
• Develop and maintain positive communication across departments.
• Handle hiring, training, performance management, and employee development.
• Implement and review ISO procedures related to the department.
• Train employees on procedures and work instructions.
• Communicate company and departmental plans and progress.
• Report on all departmental activities.
• Monitor departmental efficiency and implement improvements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in inventory control, logistics, or related fields.
• Experience in inventory control, logistics, etc.
• Supervisory experience is advantageous.
• Completion of formal Export Manager training preferred.
• Knowledge of purchasing principles, import/export laws, contracts, and procurement methods.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in SAP, MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Problem-solving and creative thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Fluent in German and English (spoken and written).
• Willingness to travel frequently within ETC GmbH locations and to the US for training.
