Solution Architect – Product Development

Overview :

Blue Yonder is a leading AI-driven Global Supply Chain Solutions Software Product Company and one of Glassdoor’s “Best Places to Work”.

We are seeking a Solution Architect to join our Product Development team, with a strong functional foundation in supply chain software (Planning / Execution) and deep knowledge of the Retail and/or Manufacturing industry.

Scope :

Core responsibilities include architecting, designing and developing solution suite offerings for our customers in the Manufacturing and/or Retail Industry segment, with a focus on business use cases, business processes and software capabilities.

This role is part of the end-to-end solution engineering team within the Product Development organization. The existing team is currently comprised of global associates across North America, EMEA and India and is currently growing rapidly.

What you’ll do :

1. Lead the implementation of our newly launched products and solutions at first customers in cooperation with Product Management and field teams.
2. Contribute to the functional design of standardized business use cases utilizing the latest capabilities released by the larger BY Product Development organization.
3. Develop and execute functional tests to ensure BY software consistently meets the customer's business objectives.
4. Create templates and artifacts towards reusability and automation decreasing implementation lifecycle, reducing errors post go-live and efficient support operations.
5. Ability to prepare and deliver presentations for user, management, and executive level audiences.
6. Support the full end-to-end lifecycle from go-to-market activities, sales cycles, customer onboardings to solution operations.
7. Actively and responsively collaborate with the field teams and customers to drive adoption of our new products and services.
8. Communicate and/or support the business cases to Product Management and Product Development regarding specific trends for future product functionality and enhancements.
9. Contribute to documentation, conduct internal trainings and support larger team enablement.
10. Provide development teams with details on the business and domain aspects related to solution suite development.
11. Stay current with industry trends and analyze how those trends can be applied to the solution offerings.

What we are looking for :

1. 2+ years of hands-on experience working with supply chain solutions.
2. 2+ years domain experience in the supply chain planning industry.
3. 2+ years of experience in product development.
4. Understanding of how BY solutions (e.g., Demand, Supply Chain Planning / Enterprise Supply Planning, Fulfillment, S&OP, IO) can be configured to facilitate business processes.
5. Demonstrable functional knowledge of native SaaS products and understanding of key concepts like DevOps, CI/CD.
6. Understanding of relevant supply chain data, correlation with supply chain processes and supply chain software solutions.
7. Business analysis skills, understanding and usage of statistical & machine learning algorithms, Supply Chain Management concepts, awareness of tactical planning on overall supply chain required.
8. Ability to drive discussions on both functional and technical topics with stakeholders on all levels.
9. Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
10. Ability to work independently, effectively and proactively.
11. Passionate about working with new technologies and products and have demonstrated the ability to learn quickly, have good interpersonal & communication skills – verbal & written.
12. Ready to travel to customer sites based on business needs, and flexible to work with overlapping time zones.
13. Relevant certifications (e.g., APICS, TOGAF) will be a plus.
