This is a fantastic opportunity for a Kitchen Crew Member to assist and ensure the effective and smooth running of the kitchen operations. The Kitchen Crew Member will ensure all equipment is stored correctly, wash pots and pans, and maintain high standards of cleanliness to support kitchen efficiency.

ABOUT GENERATOR BERLIN MITTE

Winner of the 2017 Trip Expert Experts' Choice Award, Berlin’s renaissance has made it a hub for artists and musicians, solidifying its reputation as a cultural powerhouse with vibrant nightlife. Generator Berlin Mitte, located in the heart of the city, is a converted arts-focused hostel housed in former 19th-century office buildings, close to Hackescher Markt, Alexanderplatz, and Kunsthaus Tacheles.

The hostel features art installations by Sebastian Preschoux and Thierry Noir, a historic courtyard, social spaces, and a library, creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests and staff alike.

NUTS AND BOLTS OF THE JOB

• Carry out basic cleaning tasks swiftly
• Wash pots and pans
• Clean food prep areas and equipment, crockery, and cutlery
• Unload food and equipment deliveries
• Organize the storeroom
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of surfaces, walls, and floors
• Assist the kitchen team with ad-hoc tasks as needed
• Provide exceptional service to guests to encourage return visits
• Anticipate guest needs and exceed expectations
• Follow brand, hotel, and company standards and policies

Other duties may be assigned as required.
