Responsibilities
  • Data Privacy and Compliance: Support internal departments in daily operations and projects, including AI feature integrations, ensuring compliance with data protection laws.
  • Legal Analysis: Analyze legal developments in data protection law and advise the business on implementation.
  • Marketing Data Privacy: Provide expertise in data handling and privacy topics related to marketing to support one of our largest departments.
  • Privacy Governance: Manage data protection documents (e.g., Records of Processing Activities, Data Protection Impact Assessments, Deletion Concepts) and review data protection contracts.
  • Privacy Requests: Coordinate tasks related to data breaches, incidents, and data subject requests, communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Internal Compliance: Develop data protection policies, implement guidelines, and optimize privacy-related processes.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with legal teams, data protection officers, and department leadership.
  • Internal Trainings: Develop and deliver data protection training for management and staff.
Requirements
  • Degree in law or business law with focus on data protection or IT law; deep knowledge of GDPR, BDSG, TDDDG.
  • 2-5 years of experience in governance, risk, and data protection compliance, ideally in an international organization.
  • Interest in IT processes and digitalization.
  • Ability to analyze workflows and document issues clearly.
  • Pragmatic, solution-oriented counseling style.
  • Strong understanding of procedural contexts and corporate interests.
  • Passion for transparency and problem-solving.
  • Confident communication skills, assertiveness, and ability to tailor messages to different audiences.
  • Team-oriented mindset.
  • Fluent in Business English and German; additional languages are a plus.
