The holder of this position will have full sales responsibility within the respective sales territory, including promotional field activities, developing and executing referral pathways, and managing relationships with pulmonologists (specialist doctors and clinics).
What will your tasks as “Key Account Manager (m / f / x)” be?
- Regular strategic planning and further development of the territory by analyzing and integrating data, using account plans, marketing measures, and other sales activities (in person and/or digitally) to achieve or exceed sales targets.
- Develop and maintain a strong network within the field of pulmonology and other defined target physicians.
- Maintain a high level of personal responsibility and self-motivation.
- Adopt a solution-oriented approach in a dynamic market environment.
- Pursue continuous education and maintain a high level of clinical knowledge to differentiate yourself from other sales professionals, with active learning to adapt to new challenges.
- Follow compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with various target groups, both internally and externally.
- Participate in national congresses, events, and training programs (including internal events).
Your requirements as a “Key Account Manager (m / f / x)”?
- At least 5 years’ experience as a pharmaceutical consultant or sales representative.
- At least 2 years of experience in sales to specialist doctors and clinics (Fachärzte & Kliniken).
- Network in pulmonology would be a plus.
- Proven successful territory management.
- High interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills, both in face-to-face interactions and through other channels based on HCP preferences.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to analyze data effectively.
- High learning ability and scientific competence, with a willingness for active learning.
- Proven adherence to the 5 behaviors: Passion, Cooperation, Integrity, Respect, and Responsibility.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and experience with CRM systems.
- Good language skills in English.
- This position reports directly to the Head of Regional Sales West.
- This is a non-supervisory position for now.
- Ability to travel approximately 80% of the time.
- The role is a Field Sales position.
- Anticipated start date: 01.10.2025.
