Production Engineering Specialist

Your Role and Responsibilities

As a production equipment designer, you play a crucial role in developing production processes, especially in flow products, actuators, positioners, temperature transmitters, and sensors. Your work spans from Minden, NRW, Germany to international contexts. You will work independently within a team to develop new concepts, design production and testing equipment, and contribute to continuous improvement. You will also be responsible for our state-of-the-art flow calibration stands in water and air sectors.

1. Conceptualize and develop production/testing equipment focusing on measurement and control technology, especially flow technology.
2. Create comprehensive concepts considering technical, economic, and project-related aspects.
3. Continuously improve existing testing systems and provide technical support.
4. Ensure seamless integration of new products into manufacturing processes.
5. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and external partners to develop innovative solutions.
6. Ensure compliance with quality standards and guidelines throughout all development phases.

Qualifications

• Degree in electrical engineering or a related field with a focus on measurement and control technology.
• Experience in conceptualizing and developing production equipment, ideally in special-purpose machine construction or related industries.
• Extensive knowledge of control technology, sensor technology, actuator technology, and measurement technology, especially flow measurement.
• Knowledge of programming and control system applications.
• Team player with excellent communication skills.
• Fluent in German (written and spoken) and good English skills.
