Position: High Voltage Engineer (Full-time, Permanent)

Your Responsibilities

1. Support business development activities, including tendering, client presentations, and enhancing the technical capabilities of the team.
2. Lead engineering efforts on new projects.
3. Identify resource needs and assist in building a new team in the DACH region.
4. Collaborate with UK design teams to ensure compliance with local standards.
5. Develop and manage designs, calculations, reports, and drawings for HV power transmission systems, HVDC interconnectors, or HV renewable energy infrastructure in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
6. Travel occasionally to BakerHicks offices in London and within the DACH region as required.

Your Profile

1. Experience in producing or managing designs, calculations, reports, and drawings for HV power transmission systems, HVDC interconnectors, or HV renewable energy infrastructure in the DACH region.
2. Proficiency in both German and English.
3. Specialist knowledge in one of the following areas: HV cable design, Overhead line design, or Substation Primary design.
4. Leadership experience or ambition to advance to a leadership role.
5. Willingness to travel as needed within the DACH region and occasionally to the UK.
