A leading international bank is seeking an Associate Director-Credit Analyst for their Frankfurt office. This role involves leading credit reviews, analyzing client credit risk, and partnering with various teams to execute credit analysis. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial institutions and strong analytical skills, contributing to the bank's commitment to making a positive impact.
We are currently looking for an Associate Director-Credit Analyst, Financial Institutionsto join ourFrankfurtoffice to work on ourFinancial Institutions client portfolio.
Our Credit Analysts have extensive knowledge of our risk assessment and portfolio risk management framework which they use to support our Relationship Managers with credit reviews, ongoing risk monitoring and client creditworthiness. They also assess Standard Chartered’s risk appetite against market and economic conditions across the different markets and asset classes.
· - Sound knowledge of accounting and financial principles and understanding of a bank’s financial statements
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in a similar role or rating agency
- Experience in the credit analysis of Financial Institutions/ Banks and Brokers Dealers (BBD) clients would be preferrable
- Strong analytical ability, focused on the assessment and calibration of credit risk.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with proven ability to work across cultures and within a dynamic environment.
- Able to hold credible dialogue at all levels of the organisation, as well as with clients.
- Product knowledge for Markets, Transaction Banking and Corporate Finance.
- Knowledge of the financial services' regulatory environment.
- Data analysis and visualisation.
- Expertise In Excel, Word
- Fluency in English and sound knowledge of German
- Strong academic record is essential (Bachelor’s degree in economics, mathematics or accounting from an accredited university with a minimum 2.1 or equivalent)
