Responsibilities:You bring strong accounting expertise and solid experience in preparing financial statements, and you take professional responsibility for the further development of fixed asset accounting and the oversight of asset-related processes (Acquire-to-Retire) for EagleBurgmann entities in Germany and Austria
You ensure timely and accurate recording of all transactions in the area of fixed assets in SAP in accordance with legal requirements and internal guidelines
You plan, organize, and carry out fixed asset inventories and projects related to the Acquire-to-Retire process
You prepare regular reports and perform ad-hoc analyses within your area of responsibility
You act as the central point of contact for accounting and process-related questions in the Acquire-to-Retire process and collaborate closely with subsidiaries, internal departments, and auditors
You support monthly and quarterly closings under IFRS and assist in the preparation of annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB)
You maintain process documentation, perform internal controls, and continuously enhance processes and systems within the SAP FI-AA environment
Several years of relevant professional experience in asset and/or general ledger accounting
Excellent knowledge of SAP (FI/CO), ideally SAP S/4HANA
Ideally, you have already managed projects with an accounting focus
Strong understanding of operational accounting processes, especially in the areas of Acquire-to-Retire and Record-to-Report
Independent and self-responsible working style
Structured, solution-oriented, and reliable demeanor
Excellent command of MS Office tools, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
