About the role: The Senior Account Manager will be the primary relationship owner of a strategic group of key accounts, responsible for retention and growth within that account portfolio. This role involves providing strategic insights, supporting initiatives across departments, and ensuring excellent customer experience through consultative business development practices. The Senior AM will work directly with clients and collaborate with internal stakeholders to execute strategic account plans, acting as the key contact for issues, escalations, and requests.

What you'll be doing:

  1. Creating strategic account plans to assist in budgeting and KPI setting.
  2. Developing and executing tactical actions supporting account outcomes.
  3. Conducting monthly/quarterly business reviews with clients to ensure retention and satisfaction.
  4. Engaging in consultative sales conversations to maintain trusted advisor status.
  5. Serving as the primary contact for key accounts, coordinating with stakeholders.
  6. Maintaining a healthy sales funnel within existing accounts to grow share of wallet.
  7. Leading business discovery conversations to understand client challenges.
  8. Coordinating internal resources to solve sales and customer challenges.
  9. Coaching and guiding other Account Managers on growth strategies.

What we're looking for:

  • Experience in a comparable Account Management role.
  • Experience with Technology and SaaS.
  • Experience working with both Public and Private sector clients.
  • Skilled in building rapport and developing long-term relationships.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Proactive, persuasive, and energetic personality.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence working with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Knowledge of ecosystems including Atlassian, Gitlab, etc.
  • Fluent in German and English.
