IMPACT starts with us: We are looking for you as a Design Engineer in R&D (f/m/d) to play an active role in the development of our new generation of switchgear. This is not just about a new type, but about the development and production of a new, sustainable and environmentally friendly generation of switchgear. Sounds interesting? When and where? Immediately in Regensburg

Duration: Permanent

Vacation: 30 days / year

Hours per week: 35 hours (5-day week) according to the IG Metall collective agreement

Your IMPACT:

• Support in the development of the next generation of our switchgear: Creation of schematics, sketches, lists and design drawings
• Implementation of complete assemblies and variants, taking into account internal and external standards and specifications
• Collaboration in the product life cycle, including research into materials, manufacturing techniques, etc.
• Carrying out analytical calculations and simulations with a focus on cost optimization
• Organization of prototype production, as well as construction, testing and optimization of these

Your Profile:

• Completed studies in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or similar with professional experience as a design engineer, ideally in the field of medium voltage
• Knowledge of 3D planning software and CAD modeling
• In addition to good communication and presentation skills, a structured way of working as well as goal orientation
• Fluency in German and English
