A well-known Japanese manufacturer is looking for an experienced and hands-on IT Manager to join their Krefeld office. The IT Manager will take full ownership of IT systems and drive the digital transformation forward including implementing new ERP systems, modernising and unifying IT infrastructure across the business, and building up a new internal IT department.

TYPE : Full time, Permanent (6-month probation period)

WORKING HOURS : Monday to Friday, 40 hrs / week

SALARY : €90,000 to €120,000 dependant on experience(Company car will be provided)

Start : ASAP

LOCATION : Krefeld, Germany (Office based, but 1 day work from home can be applicable)

Key Responsibilities of the IT Manager

• Work together with various stakeholders to evaluate, select, and implement a new ERP system
• Build the internal IT function and infrastructure (in-house and / or with external partners)
• Ensure system integration across all departments (finance, logistics, sales, marketing, etc.)
• Manage IT operations, hardware / software procurement, and user support
• Oversee cybersecurity and data protection compliance
• Act as the main point of contact for external IT providers

Ideal Candidates for the IT Manager

• Fluent in German and English
• A pragmatic, hands-on IT generalist with strong system integration skills
• Experience in leading IT projects from planning to roll-out
• Familiarity with ERP systems and process design across departments
• Ability to scale IT infrastructure in a mid-sized company context
• Strong communication and project management skills
• All applicants for the In-house IT Manager must have the right to work in Germany as the Company is not able to offer visa support.
