Responsibilities:

1. Establish and standardize trends analysis processes for complex, text-rich, and voluminous datasets containing information on product quality issues occurring in the market.
2. Act as European liaison for a new IT system aimed at retaining recommendations, analyses, and supporting data for managing inactive/active safety-related defect investigations.
3. Monitor and analyze internal data sources (e.g., PIR accident reports, government complaints, warranty claims, Techline cases, Technical Service Bulletins) to identify emerging vehicle safety issues.
4. Monitor and analyze external data sources (e.g., VOQs, competitor recalls, government investigations) to identify emerging vehicle safety issues.
5. Conduct deep-dive analyses to formulate recommendations for opening vehicle safety-related investigations, knowledge discovery, and proactive forecasting.
6. Coordinate communication between the Data Review Committee and the Technical Review Committee on in-process proposals.
7. Monitor new safety-related matters and industry trends, advising ESO leadership on best practices and potential risks.
8. Innovate new methods of trends analysis and problem-solving based on industry and competitor best practices.
9. Collaborate with departments such as finance, engineering, legal, and CA to resolve data integrity issues and recommend improvements.
10. Present findings to the Data Review Board.

About you:

1. University degree in a technical discipline.
2. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Quality or Safety within the Automotive Industry.
3. General automotive technical knowledge (e.g., body, chassis, brakes, electrical, safety systems).
4. High level of accuracy and attention to detail when analyzing large volumes of data.
5. Ability to judge independently and understand the impact of various factors and trends on business decisions.
6. Aptitude for employing IT systems for in-depth analysis, including statistical quality analysis.
7. Strong stakeholder presentation and management skills.
8. Desire to work in a fast-paced, multicultural, result-oriented environment.
9. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
10. Fluency in English.
