Software Developer (m / f / d) Functional Safety with a focus on embedded software

Field of activity

• Specification of firmware modules for safety controllers
• Pre-development of firmware modules for safety controllers
• Development of an automated test architecture
• Preparation, specification and maintenance of unit, module and system tests
• Review of product specifications and security concepts
• Cooperation with test centers

Requirements

• Successfully completed studies in the field of electrical engineering, computer science, communications engineering, automation technology or a comparable field
• Programming language skills in C, C++ and Python
• Experience with safe control systems; preferably Beckhoff TwinSAFE or other manufacturers
• Experience with functional safety standards (ISO 13849, IEC 61508, ISO 26262) and Machinery Directive is desirable
• Experience with microcontrollers from ST or Microchip is desirable
• Solution-oriented, independent and structured way of working
• Very good written and spoken German and English skills
