Qualifikationen

  • 10 Jahre Erfahrung in einem Unternehmensumfeld, idealerweise im ESG/Sustainability-Bereich.
  • Selbststarter mit Erfahrung in der Leitung von Initiativen und Stakeholder-Management.

The ESG Engagement and Project Manager will play a key role on the ESG Strategy team in advancing our agenda to drive impact and access, champion sustainability, empower our people, and promote excellent corporate governance. The ESG Engagement and Project Manager will lead a number of initiatives on the ESG team to help us to deliver on our strategy, engaging with business units and colleagues globally particularly on access to medicines and sustainability.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Serve as the key contact person for our markets to ensure they have the ESG-related information they need to support Sandoz’ growth and success. This includes:
  • Building a mechanism to provide on-demand sustainability and other ESG data and information for our sales and market access teams bidding on tenders or pursuing other new business opportunities. This work will comprise at least half of your role in 2025
  • Supporting our regulatory teams making the case for generic and biosimilar medicines
  • Supporting our patient engagement and medical affairs teams with corporate and country-level data
  • Support the implementation of Sandoz’ sustainability workstreams so that we can meet our commitments on decarbonization, water, and other areas
  • Partner with our global and country-level P&O, corporate governance, and other teams to ensure they are well informed on our global ESG priorities and can help us to deliver them
  • Support our investor relations and communications teams to ensure that they have the necessary ESG information to engage with our shareholders and our broader audience of stakeholders
  • Project manage the development of the ESG narrative for our integrated annual report and other periodic reporting, in close partnership with our ESG reporting team and other stakeholders (i.e. local teams) as required
  • Ensure our ESG narrative is compliant to SIX, EU CSRD, and other required reporting requirements at a global or country level

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • Degree in Business, Science, Sustainability, Finance, Accounting, or related area
  • 10 years of experience in a corporate environment, either with an ESG/Sustainability team or in a commercial, operations, or communications role
  • Self-starter who is comfortable leading initiatives from beginning to end, working with many stakeholders along the way
  • Customer service-oriented, including when working with internal stakeholders
  • Commercial experience within a European pharmaceutical company a plus
  • Familiarity with data management tools and systems, including SAP and Excel
  • Excellent project management and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong problem-solving and creative thinking abilities
  • Fluent English skills spoken and writing

Desirable Requirements:

  • Sustainability experience is a plus
  • Additional languages will be considered a plus
