Heimstaden Group is seeking a finance professional to build financial models, conduct research, and support investment strategies in a dynamic real estate environment. This role offers a collaborative culture and opportunities for professional growth.

Through our investment in Heimstaden Bostad AB, we hold exposure to around 160,000 homes across nine countries with a property value of EUR 29bn. Moreover, as appointed asset manager for the Heimstaden Bostad group, we drive the European real estate market towards a better and more sustainable tomorrow.
After acquiring its first portfolio in Berlin in 2018, Heimstaden Bostad has continued to expand in Germany, and is today the owner and manager of close to 30,000 residential units in nine German cities. Heimstaden offices are located in the cities of Berlin (headquarters), Hamburg and Halle/Saale. In addition, Heimstaden Bostad formed a joint venture with Allianz at the end of 2022, which now owns residential properties in a further five German cities throughout Germany.

Your Role in Our Team :
Build and analyze advanced financial models – this is a central and essential part of the role.
Conduct thorough research, gather, and meticulously validate data for acquisition and divestment processes.
Maintain and develop databases concerning valuations, development projects, and more.
Utilize research findings to respond to emerging market trends.
Engage with key stakeholders in the real estate sector and deliver research outcomes to internal and external audiences.
Partake in due diligence processes.
Support the refinement of investment strategies.
Prepare investment application memos for review by Heimstaden’s Investment Committee.
Support the fundraising process and investor reporting
Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of operational workflows within the investment department.
Support the quarterly valuation process an assessment of results
Support complex and value driving projects across the portfolio
What You Bring:
2-4 years of experience in finance or real estate, gained from consulting, advisory or investment roles.
Educational background in finance or engineering with a focus on real estate.
Exceptional financial modelling skills are a must – you should be comfortable building complex models from scratch and using them to drive investment decisions.
Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making approach.
Effective communication and collaboration abilities, essential for cross-functional teamwork.
Ability to translate financial modelling results into investment memorandum
Thrives in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail and ability to critically reviview your work and assumptions
