Job Description:
For our client in the aerospace industry, we are seeking motivated candidates for the position of Supply Chain and Quality Manager in Hamburg-Finkenwerder, Germany. The role is available immediately within the framework of temporary employment.
Your responsibilities:
- Act as the main contact point for suppliers regarding operational activities and contract management.
- Manage supply chain and quality aspects of contracts, ensuring On Time, On Quality, and On Cost performance.
- Handle notifications such as Escape (NoE), Quality Surveillance Reports (QSR), and Safety Related Items (SAR).
- Manage TNF/CNF processes.
- Perform First Article Acceptance and Inspection activities (FAA/FAI).
- Oversee APID management.
- Develop short-term recovery plans and address Outstanding Work (OSW) scenarios.
- Lead supplier recovery and improvement projects.
- Manage supplier quality approval and ensure compliance with necessary certifications in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
- Support new product introduction to ensure industrial qualification maturity before serial production.
- Initiate and manage supplier performance improvement projects, setting long-term development targets in collaboration with suppliers and the Supplier Development Team.
Personal requirements:
- Team player with excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with different stakeholders.
- Assertive and customer-oriented attitude.
- Ability to analyze complex problems and find suitable solutions.
- Willingness to travel occasionally (1-2 times per month).
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace or Supply Chain & Quality Management.
Professional experience:
- At least 3 years in quality management.
- At least 3 years in quality assurance.
- At least 3 years in supply chain management.
IT Skills:
- Knowledge of SAP functions.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace.
Knowledge:
- Basic knowledge of Lean Management.
- Basic knowledge of Project Management.
- Good knowledge of Total Quality Management and problem-solving methods.
- Business fluent in German and English.
Further qualifications:
- CAPRI certification (advantage).
- Normmater certification (advantage).
