Are you passionate about sustainable materials and driving sales growth? Arkema’s High Performance Polymers Business is seeking a dynamic Account & Business Development Manager to join our Specialty Polyamide team in Germany.

Your Tasks:
  • Manage sales and business development of Specialty Polyamides granules in DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) and CEE regions, targeting industrial, consumer, and textile markets.
  • Implement sales strategies in line with global guidelines, negotiating volume and prices with customers and distributors.
  • Proactively prospect, initiate new projects, and develop recurrent sales.
  • Support high-value specialty polymers in fast-growing markets with double-digit annual growth, fostering a team-oriented hunting mode.
  • Contribute to ongoing industrial investments, expanding production capacities worldwide, focusing on biobased products with high demand.
  • Report business performance to the Global Market Manager Industry/O&G and EMEA Sales based in France.
  • Report hierarchically to the local/regional country Manager, based at the Arkema local office or remotely.
Your Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years experience in sales and/or business development.
  • Fluent in German and English; French is a plus.
  • Graduated from an engineering school or holds a PhD, with strong commercial and communication skills.
  • Experience in international business environments and matrix organizations.
  • Understanding of technical polymers' performance and processing is advantageous.
  • Autonomous, responsive, curious, well-organized, and proactive.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% for customer meetings.
