Job Description:

The Global Client Group (GCG) is Dimensional’s distribution arm, comprising sales channels that target a diverse client set. By putting the client first, we strive to transform the way the world invests, and our solutions are a testament to the value provided to our clients.

Reporting to the Head of Client Relationship Group, the role of the Associate is to support Dimensional’s business in Germany. This position will be based in Dimensional’s Munich office.

Associates across the Global Client Group provide relationship management and analytical support to help grow the existing client base and develop new business opportunities for Dimensional.

The successful candidate will demonstrate an interest in Dimensional’s client service and business development efforts. Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize Dimensional’s investment research, tools, and resources to communicate directly with clients about our investment solutions.
  • Support the team in preparing event and client materials, such as prospecting packs, portfolio review books, and ad-hoc presentations.
  • Assist clients with inquiries related to our client service offerings, including coordinating with internal experts when needed.
  • Provide detailed analysis of client investment portfolios using proprietary systems and reporting functions.
  • Represent Dimensional at Webcasts, Conferences, and Workshops, potentially speaking at some events.
  • Support Regional Directors in sales efforts, including guiding prospective clients through onboarding.
  • Maintain accurate client records using our advanced CRM system.
  • Participate in projects supporting sales and client relationships, such as market research and prospecting.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across departments like Marketing, Events, and Practice Management to deliver a comprehensive Dimensional experience for clients.
  • Build and maintain relationships with colleagues across the Global Client Group and other internal departments globally.

Qualifications, Experience, and Characteristics:

  • Native or fluent German language skills are essential; fluency in English is also required.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline is preferred.
  • Previous experience in a corporate environment, ideally within financial services, is advantageous.
  • Interest in investment management, finance, or wealth management.
  • Curiosity about clients and their businesses, with an interest in servicing different client types through meetings, study groups, or events.
  • Ability to develop and sustain relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, and senior managers.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize data.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, with the ability to learn new programs.
  • Genuine passion for continuous learning and professional growth.
  • Enjoys collaborative teamwork and helping others.
  • Sets high standards and thrives on challenges.
  • Uses creativity and ingenuity in problem-solving.
  • Strong desire to work in a sales environment with a proactive, 'go-getter' attitude.

Preferably, candidates will already hold the CFA, IMC, or equivalent certification or plan to obtain it within six months of joining.
