DESCRIPTION

Amazon is looking for a Senior Program Manager, Supply Chain, with a strong delivery record and senior leadership experience to own and manage strategic, cross-functional supply chain planning projects. Our team, Long Term Network Planning, drives strategic plans based on forecasts and optimizes the flow of billions of units each year for EU customers. We own and drive strategic long-term fulfillment center decisions, including site location, design, capacity expansion (buildouts), financial viability, and impact on network dynamics. The Sr PM will be responsible for improving network efficiency by partnering with various stakeholder teams such as Operations, Engineering, Real Estate, and Finance to plan and implement decisions. This high-visibility role involves working with business teams worldwide to prioritize projects supporting both new products/programs and existing operations and supply chain systems.

Key job responsibilities

1. Ownership of a high-visibility strategic plan for internal customers, ensuring on-time delivery and providing a mid to long-term view on expected volumes and capacity, which are critical for operational, transportation, and labor planning.
2. Analyzing future network programs and designs to understand their impact and assess risks related to capacity, cost, speed, and reliability, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to drive alignment.
3. Presenting strategic updates to senior leadership on the progress of network programs.
4. Defining and preparing network solve plans.
5. Aligning trade-offs with finance and business teams.
6. Collaborating with engineering, Real Estate, and S&OP teams to ensure smooth network transitions.
7. Preparing review documents on network topology for directors and VPs.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in program or project management.
• Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
• Experience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Master's degree or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design, or related fields.
• Experience leading process improvements.
• Proficiency in Excel and SQL.
