Team & Responsibilities:

• Lead the future development of Mozilla’s Release Engineering team.
• Develop scalable software for building, testing, and releasing Firefox daily.
• Troubleshoot and optimize deployment processes, emphasizing stability and long-term planning.
• Collaborate with geographically distributed teams across North America and Europe.
• Provide code reviews, technical guidance, and mentorship.
• Respond to critical service outages during normal hours.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in an object-oriented programming language (preferably Python).
• Experience publishing Android and/or iOS applications for 4+ years.
• 5+ years of building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• 3+ years working with cloud providers like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Proficiency in deploying reliable and secure systems.
• Comfort with Windows, macOS, and Linux environments; shell scripting skills.
• Strong communication skills and experience working in distributed teams.
• Track record of completing long-term projects.
