About the Role
We are seeking a Product Manager to leverage market research and proactively engage with industry segments and new customers.
Responsibilities
- Drive the strategy and vision for the predictive retrosynthesis solution product, including formulating and validating roadmap requirements and feature delivery.
- Partner closely with the Reaxys Technology and Engineering teams for product lifecycle management.
- Interact with customers and industry experts, and collaborate with cross-functional teams at Elsevier to develop requirements, roadmaps, design, and execute go-to-market strategies.
- Develop go-to-market plans, including sales enablement, product launches, website presence, social media, product demos, webinars, case studies, usage activation, and win-loss analysis.
- Listen to internal and external customers to identify, plan, and develop new products, such as working with external partners to enhance the predictive retrosynthesis solution based on key customer needs.
- Leverage chemistry and medicinal chemistry data to develop other reaction-based and ADMET predictors.
Requirements
- Experience as a Product Manager for SaaS products or information solutions with subscription models.
- Experience working with pharmaceutical and chemical companies as well as academia.
- Possess a Master's degree in Synthetic Organic Chemistry.
- Proven success in product strategy, roadmap development, product rollouts, go-to-market strategies (including pricing, packaging, and positioning), and a customer-centric approach.
