Job Opportunity: Business Development Manager - Germany

For a multinational, fast-growing company and a leader in designing, producing, and commercializing industrial transformers, we are seeking a Business Development Manager.

Mission:

Reporting to the Sales Director Germany, this role ensures the management and development of the business in Germany for medium and low voltage solutions. Responsibilities include managing P&L and achieving all commercial targets in line with the company's strategy.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure turnover and margin through effective implementation of the sales plan.
  2. Manage relationships with customers to secure competitive advantages for the company.
  3. Provide guidelines to develop the Sales Plan and present it to the Sales Director.
  4. Define budgets and target priorities; monitor, control, and forecast sales periodically.
  5. Identify and qualify new customers; propose organizational development of business opportunities.
  6. Recognize and implement the most commercially viable solutions for accounts.
  7. Develop thorough knowledge of clients' business and culture within the sector to foster relationships and identify opportunities.
Knowledge and Experience:
  • Business or Engineering Degree; MBA is a plus.
  • At least 6 years of experience in electric manufacturing companies (transformers, control panels, power stations, switchgears).
  • Proven track record of working effectively with clients and delivering measurable results.
  • Good market knowledge.
