Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Senior Golang Developer to join our Shop Applications Unit, focusing on the continuous improvement of our App, Mobile Website, and Desktop Website. In this role, you will develop and optimize our backend API that serves our App and Web Applications. You will tackle technical challenges as our platform scales, ensuring the API is robust and production-ready. Collaborating closely with frontend developers and Tech Leads, you will play a critical role in shaping the architectural decisions and exploring new technologies. Join our tech community and make a direct impact through regular agile retrospectives.
What you will do
API Development: Develop a gRPC API in Go that encapsulates core business logic into a simple-to-use interface for our frontend developers.
Performance Optimization: Improve the scalability and technical performance of our API, focusing on response times and system efficiency.
AWS Ecosystem: Work on a highly scalable product within the AWS ecosystem, utilizing services that enhance our infrastructure.
Architectural Collaboration: Draft architectural decisions in collaboration with our Tech Lead and explore new technologies that can benefit the platform.
Agile Processes: Influence team processes through regular agile retrospectives, fostering continuous improvement.
Knowledge Sharing: Exchange knowledge with other developers and be an active part of our tech community.
Who you are
Minimum of 5+ years in building complex backend APIs.
Proficiency in Go (Golang) development.
Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL) and key-value stores (e.g., Redis).
Ability to write well-structured, efficient, and maintainable code.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Passion for building scalable distributed systems.
Comfortable working in an English-speaking, agile environment.
Nice to have
Experience with the AWS Ecosystem (CloudFormation, Terraform, ElastiCache, etc.).
Familiarity with gRPC or GraphQL.
Knowledge of centralized logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions.
Understanding of DevOps practices, containerization, and cloud solutions.
