Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for the leadership team, mentor team members, and foster a culture of continuous learning.
• Support projects and initiatives, especially during initial setup, collaborating on architecture, effort estimation, and team assignment.
• Lead Data & AI projects closely with internal clients, ensuring quality and stability through agile practices, peer reviews, and reusable data models and architecture templates.
• Own the technical evaluation of new candidates during hiring.
• Stay updated with industry trends, evaluate new tools and technologies, and recommend enhancements for data management and analysis.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in data architecture or engineering, leading teams, with a degree or PhD in Computer Science or related fields, or equivalent experience. Strong interest in mathematics and statistics.
• Extensive knowledge of Azure, AWS, GCP, and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or ARM templates.
• Proven experience with ETL, data extraction, transformation, and loading using Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, or Azure Synapse Analytics; familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment best practices.
• Knowledge of machine learning frameworks (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Azure ML) and programming in Python and SQL.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and German.
• Knowledge of the energy industry is a plus.
