• Underwrite, price, and secure existing business while identifying new opportunities.
• Build and strengthen relationships with clients and brokers, ensuring excellent service and value-added solutions.
• Develop marketing and sales strategies, gather market intelligence, and assess new business prospects.
• Analyze existing business profitability and ensure underwriting decisions align with company guidelines, best practices, and authority levels.
• Maintain higher education qualifications (Bachelor's / Master's degree or equivalent).
• Proven experience in treaty reinsurance underwriting, preferably within the P&C market in Germany.
• Strong analytical skills and a strategic mindset for risk assessment and pricing.
• Excellent relationship management and negotiation skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a global team.
• Fluent in German and English.
