The Business Unit “Smart Systems” specializes in innovative sensors and actuators, focusing on intelligent system integration tailored to user requirements.

We are seeking a student to analyze companies in the semiconductor industry using Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) for a scientific thesis (Bachelor's or Master's). The student will explore market strategies, positions, innovation potential, and technological prospects of these companies.

What you will do
  • Conduct market analysis of semiconductor companies.
  • Apply Generative AI to analyze data and identify market trends.
  • Gather and evaluate scientific and company-specific data.
  • Create reports and presentations of research findings.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams within the Business Unit “Smart Systems”.
What you bring to the table
  • Enrolled student in Chemnitz, Mittweida, Freiberg, Dresden, or nearby.
  • Studying economics, industrial engineering, computer science, physics, or similar.
  • Knowledge of artificial intelligence applications in company data analysis.
  • Experience with Generative AI technologies (e.g., GPT models, machine learning).
  • Interest in the semiconductor industry and related tech.
  • Strong analytical skills and structured data approach.
  • Proficiency in German and English, both written and spoken.
  • Independent, reliable, and motivated work ethic.
