Job Description

Clinical Sales Specialists Anesthesiology

Location: home-office based, Germany

Our client develops monitoring devices and applications to objectively assess patients' physiological pain response levels, spearheading pain management helping anesthesiologists.

The Clinical Sales Specialist is responsible for direct and indirect sales of medical devices to hospitals — identifying relevant leads, pitching & training clinicians, driving use & quick adoption. These are home office based positions with extensive travel.

Requirements:

  • Native speaker in German/Spanish/French depending on your location, in addition to excellent English verbal and writing skills.
  • University degree in life sciences or related field/experience linked to anesthesiology, ICU, nursing, surgery, pain management.
  • Direct sales experience in medical device industry is a plus but not mandatory. Experience in OR or ICU is advantageous.
  • Proficient in demonstrating and promoting new products/technologies to all levels of the medical industry.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Travel up to 90% within the assigned territory, including travel via car or plane.

The ideal candidate must be skilled in engagement and procurement cycles — creating, cultivating, and closing sales leads within the assigned regions. Must be autonomous, work well in cross-functional teams, develop strong relationships, and uphold our reputation and brand.

Position responsibilities:

  • Meet and exceed assigned sales targets for profitable growth.
  • Achieve install base growth in the assigned geography and account base.
  • Collaborate with clinical, product, and R&D teams.
  • Provide clinical training and support, mainly through product demonstrations in the operating theatre.
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings.
  • Establish productive, professional relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Maintain current knowledge of products, services, and competitors; provide market feedback.
  • Establish “excellence centers”.
