About your team:

Our Regulatory Reporting team is dedicated to ensuring the timely and appropriate reporting of our bank by identifying and processing all necessary requirements and data. The team is responsible for all aspects of the corporate regulatory reporting of FIL Fondsbank (FFB), which includes regular monthly, quarterly and yearly submissions. The timely and accurate provision of all regulatory reports is also a key task for the bank.

About your role:

As part of our motivated team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development and implementation of regulatory reporting issues and make a significant impact on the long-term success of our bank.

You will work very closely with internal teams such as Financial Accounting, Compliance, Risk Management, Internal Audit or Operations as well as external stakeholders like auditors or regulators. This includes the following key responsibilities:

1. Developing a sound understanding of the bank's business model and the key factors influencing the regulatory reporting environment
2. Timely and independent preparation of regulatory reports, including the necessary reconciliations and cross-checks as well as the provision of data for internal reports
3. Reporting on risk-bearing capacity: analysing and preparing all data required for the bank's risk-bearing capacity reporting in close coordination with risk management
4. Analysing new reporting requirements with an impact on our business
5. Supporting projects for the implementation of regulatory, systemic or product-related changes
6. Reviewing and testing new versions of the regulatory reporting tool and documenting the implementation

About you:

1. University degree in economics, finance, law, mathematics or a related field
2. A minimum of 3-4 years of professional experience in regulatory reporting within the banking, financial services, or auditing environment.
3. Good knowledge of German regulatory reporting rules (KWG, HGB, GmbHG) and CRR, EBA COREP and FINREP requirements.
4. Knowledge of the regulatory reporting systems ABACUS is very helpful.
5. An understanding of accounting in accordance with German GAAP, including its impact on the reporting system.
6. Excellent communication skills and a pragmatic approach to finding correct solutions.
7. Dedicated to accuracy and quality, with attention to detail, self-motivated and proactive, analytical ability, and able to prioritise in a multi-task environment.
8. Ability to present complex issues clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
9. Continuous development of your technical, commercial, and personal skills.
10. Fluent German (written and spoken) and conversational English required.
