CSA Construction Manager - Stuttgart - Large Pharmaceutical Company - 12-Months

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading global pharmaceutical client based in the surroundings of Stuttgart. Due to a large capital investment and multiple projects on site, the client is looking for a CSA Construction Manager to join their team.

The CSA Construction Manager will oversee the civil, structural, and architectural aspects of the construction of a new pharmaceutical manufacturing plant. This role involves managing the project from inception to completion, ensuring that all construction activities are executed efficiently, safely, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Project Management: Lead and manage the CSA construction activities, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
  2. Coordination: Collaborate with designers, specialty consultants, trade subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.
  3. Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  4. Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, control costs, and ensure financial efficiency.
  5. Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and ensure all construction activities comply with health and safety regulations.
  6. Reporting: Provide regular updates to the Project Director on project progress, challenges, and solutions.
  7. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, schedules, and reports.
Qualifications and Skills:
  1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
  2. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on pharmaceutical or industrial projects.
  3. Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  6. In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
