We are expanding our global team and we’re looking for a Legal Associate to bring their wider knowledge and help us get our product and service more widely known and used.

Responsibilities :

  • Provide legal guidance on global workforce management, including hiring, terminations, remote work regulations, and expatriate employment.
  • Draft, review, and update employment contracts to ensure compliance with local labor laws in multiple jurisdictions.
  • Draft and review commercial agreements, service agreements, and partnership contracts.
  • Assist in contract negotiations to mitigate legal risks while ensuring business objectives are met.
  • Monitor updates in employment, licensing, and data protection laws across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities and external legal counsel as needed.
  • Provide day-to-day legal guidance to the company’s leadership, and other departments.
  • Assist in developing and implementing compliance policies and internal controls.
  • Maintain and organize legal documentation, contract databases, and compliance records.
  • Conduct legal research on new and emerging regulations affecting the fintech industries.

Requirements :

  • Law degree (5-year program) from an accredited university.
  • At least 2 years of legal experience, preferably in corporate law, employment law, fintech, or regulatory compliance.
  • Strong understanding of international employment regulations, corporate governance, and contract law.
  • Experience in reviewing and drafting commercial agreements and legal documentation. Knowledge of GDPR, AML, KYC, and financial regulations is a plus.
  • Fluent English (spoken and written); additional language skills are an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess legal risks and propose solutions.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent research and drafting skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks independently.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills to collaborate with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders.
