THE OPPORTUNITY

Can you imagine yourself playing a key role in developing the IT Infrastructure of a rapidly growing international market leader in spatial technologies?

In this position, you will act as the first point of contact for NavVis employees seeking technical assistance, with the chance to take complete ownership of incoming requests on our IT Service Desk platform.

You will join an international and interdisciplinary team dedicated to the continuous development of our high-quality IT systems. The Service Delivery subteam, which you will be an important part of, is at the core of maintaining NavVis’s IT infrastructure, deploying critical IT solutions, and performing various day-to-day IT operations activities, including service desk support, troubleshooting, and incident response.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • You will have the crucial responsibility of determining the best solution based on the issue and details provided through our IT Service Desk platform.
  • You will be responsible for maintaining PCs and peripherals, including printers, and keeping the IT Asset Management system up to date.
  • You will play an active role in preparing hardware, software, and networking configurations for new users.
  • You will be involved in troubleshooting hardware/software issues for PCs, mobile devices, and network devices.
  • You will take ownership of recording, tracking, and documenting issues in a structured way.

WHAT WILL HELP YOU SUCCEED IN THE ROLE

  • University degree in computer science, information systems, etc.
  • Passion for IT systems and 1-2 years of work experience in IT support will enable you to quickly take ownership of key responsibilities.
  • Basic networking skills.
  • Well-established skills in JIRA Service Desk, Linux command-line, Active Directory management, and Office 365 will empower you to work independently and take ownership of your tasks.
  • Your strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, along with an open-minded and approachable attitude, will enable you to resolve any IT-related issue.
  • Knowledge of AZURE AD would be an added benefit.
  • Fluency in English is required as it is our official language of communication.
