Join Us as an Application Engineer (m/f/d)

We are looking for talented individuals like you to help us develop innovative solutions. As an Application Engineer, you will be responsible for developing lead formulations that showcase the performance and benefits of our ingredients in household cleaning applications.

Your Responsibilities:

1. Design and optimize cleaning product formulations using our ingredients to ensure high performance, stability, and cost-effectiveness.
2. Provide technical guidance to customers, helping them integrate our ingredients into their formulations and troubleshoot application challenges.
3. Conduct laboratory tests to assess cleaning efficacy, consumer benefits, and compatibility with other formulation components.
4. Collaborate with R&D and Sales teams to develop new ingredient solutions, support sales with technical presentations, and provide training to customers.
5. Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and customer events to showcase our technical expertise.
6. Stay updated on market trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes to position our ingredients competitively.
7. Ensure compliance with industry regulations (e.g., REACH, EPA, EU Ecolabel) and assist customers in meeting sustainability and regulatory requirements.

Your Knowledge and Expertise:

1. Master's degree in chemistry, chemical technology, formulation science, or a related field.
2. 7+ years of experience in formulation development, application testing, or technical support within the household cleaning, surfactants, or specialty chemicals industry.
3. Experience working in large companies and international environments across Europe, with exposure to different cultural contexts.
4. Knowledge of surfactants, enzymes, solvents, and other key ingredients used in home care formulations.
5. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for formulation challenges and ingredient compatibility.
6. Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to customers, R&D, and sales teams.
7. Willingness to travel to customer sites, conferences, and trade shows as needed.
