About Us:


J oin the International Table Tennis Federation Foundation (ITTF Foundation) as a Social Impact Manager and take a pivotal role in effectively managing our diverse initiatives aimed at fostering global, sustainable development through the sport of table tennis.

In this dynamic position, you will oversee and coordinate the implementation of our Dream Building Fund and Table Tennis for All programmes, ensuring they align with our mission and make a positive impact. We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual with strong project and people management skills and a passion for social change through sports.

Established in 2018, the ITTF Foundation is a global not-for-profit organisation that utilises table tennis as a catalyst for sustainable social change and positive impact in communities worldwide. We work closely and collaboratively with the International Table Tennis Federation, the governing body of the sport.

Our Service

The ITTF Foundation is closely aligned and works collaboratively with the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF). The ITTF is responsible for the governance and development of the sport for the benefit of over 30 million competitive players, as well as representing the 227 Member Associations. The ITTF Foundation aims to promote and use the power table tennis to deliver sustainable social change, where social responsibility and recreation are linked by the passion for table tennis.


Location:

This position is primarily office-based in Leipzig (Germany), with occasional international business trips and the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues from around the world. However, depending on the applicant’s profile, remote work can be considered.

Line Manager:

The Social Impact Manager will report to the ITTF Foundation Director.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Activities within the framework of the “Dream Building” programme
  • Supervision of the “TT4All” programme including the TT4All Coordinator
  • Supervision of the Social Impact Coordinator
  • Activities of the ITTF Foundation in the context of displaced persons/refugees
  • Activities within the framework of the “Emergency Relief Fund”
  • Data collection for monitoring and evaluation processes for the various projects of the ITTF Foundation
  • Impact reporting
  • Activities of the ITTF Foundation regarding inclusion, particularly in relation to gender equality and diversity
  • Development and implementation of capacity-building measures
  • Other tasks coordinated with the ITTF Foundation Director
  • Representation of the ITTF Foundation internally and externally

Key Deliverables:

  • Run the current and future Dream Building Fund cycles, including:
    • Launch of the open call
    • Coordination of the selection process
    • Co-design process in collaboration with project leaders
    • Monitoring and evaluation (M&E)
    • Development and implementation of capacity-building measures
    • Impact reporting on a quarterly basis for internal and external audiences
  • Supervise the TT4All programme, including:
    • Coordination of World Table Tennis Day celebrations
    • Support the re-launch of the Tables for All programme
    • Supervision of TT4All reporting processes

Selection Criteria:

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as international development, project management, social sciences, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in programme management, preferably in the context of nonprofit organizations, international development, or sports-related initiatives.
  • Proven experience in monitoring and evaluating programmes, including the ability to design and implement effective monitoring and evaluation frameworks.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects, set priorities, and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Proficiency in using digital tools and platforms for programme management, data analysis, and reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to the development and execution of strategic plans.
  • Proficiency in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for the mission of the ITTF Foundation and a genuine interest in using sports, particularly table tennis, as a vehicle for social change and development.
  • A background in table tennis or familiarity with the sport is considered a plus.

Working hours: Full-time


Contract length: 2 years term with option to extend


Start date: as soon as possible.


Working location: Office based, Leipzig Germany – Remote work can be considered
