About the role

We are looking for a hybrid Senior Account Manager/Director with expertise in managing life science customers to join our team in Germany.

Are you passionate about the Health and Life Sciences industry and want to leverage technology to drive transformation for Life Science clients in Germany?

You will have the opportunity to work with top engineering, digital innovation, and design teams to shape product vision. As an Account Manager, you will play a key role in driving the success of this account, covering commercial management, new business development, and delivery governance.

In this role, you will work with cross-functional teams to consult, design, and deliver digital innovation and transformation solutions to clients in Healthcare and Life Sciences. You will leverage industry expertise and technological experience to transform organizations across various focus areas. Your client management skills will help develop relationships and identify opportunities within the wider practice.

Responsibilities

  1. Act as a trusted advisor in the Healthcare and Life Sciences space, providing clients with advice on the latest technology trends.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver technology-focused transformation projects across various areas.
  3. With support from sales/pre-sales teams, assess client opportunities, respond to RFPs, create proposals and presentations, establish relationships with clients and prospects, and help close deals.
  4. Shape and scope consulting engagements, establish optimal operating models and project team structures, and lead the transition from sales to delivery.
  5. Stay informed about current and emerging trends, opportunities, and challenges in the sectors and markets where our clients operate (focus on Germany), and advise on their impact.
  6. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients at senior levels, as well as with external and internal partners, to maximize practice growth within our Life Sciences portfolios.
  7. Align with business unit goals, support financial targets including revenue and profit, and contribute to strategic growth.

Requirements

  1. Extensive expertise in Health and Life Sciences clients in Germany.
  2. Deep industry experience in digital and innovative technology leadership roles, or equivalent from a recognized consultancy.
  3. Strong problem-solving and creative thinking skills.
  4. Willingness to lead and recruit a team.
  5. Ability to travel as needed.
  6. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  7. Effective presentation skills.
  8. Credibility with senior executives.
  9. Proven success managing client engagements and leading digital innovation projects to completion.
  10. Sound business acumen, strategic and negotiation skills, and a commitment to diversity.
  11. Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken.
