RESPONSIBILITIES

Within the HR Services Team Central & Eastern Europe, we are a diverse and inclusive team of experts and young professionals. Together, we are committed to delivering the highest quality of service to our BASF partners in Central Europe. Our team is growing! We are looking for a well-organized and customer-oriented HR Officer with Hungarian (m/f/d) to join our team. In this role:

  1. You work in close cooperation with our HR Specialists in Berlin, our local HR Partners in Central Europe, and our providers.
  2. You handle various HR operational and administrative tasks such as HR Admin, Payroll, and document management.
  3. As an HR all-rounder, you maintain employee data in our HR systems and support recruiting and training administration tasks.
  4. You perform data quality checks and support the team on different reporting topics.
  5. Using Hungarian and English, you advise and inform BASF employees in Central Europe on HR topics via phone and email.
  6. You contribute to our quality and knowledge management by documenting processes and relevant legal regulations according to our high standards.
  7. You participate in HR projects and digitalization initiatives in the Berlin Hub and with our local HR Partners in Central Europe.
QUALIFICATIONS

You have completed studies in business administration, social sciences, human resources, or a related field, and ideally gained some professional HR experience.

You are seeking a one-year contract (with potential for extension) to start your career in HR.

You possess solid MS Office skills, especially Excel. Experience with SAP and SuccessFactors is a plus.

You are fluent in Hungarian and English; knowledge of other East European languages (Slovak, Czech, Greek, Ukrainian) is advantageous.

You have good analytical skills, attention to detail, are proactive, well-organized, and customer-oriented.

You are comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
