Job Title: IT Onsite Technician

Employment Type: Freelance Contract 6 months (Extendable)

Work Schedule: [Monday to Friday, Onsite]

Job Description:

The IT Onsite Technician (Level 3) is responsible for applying acquired job skills, company policies, and procedures to perform a wide range of technical tasks. The role includes hands-on support for computer hardware, software, and operating systems, ensuring operational efficiency and prompt resolution of technical issues at the user level.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide advanced onsite technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and related hardware/software.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and OS-related issues.
  • Assist with installation, configuration, and maintenance of systems as per organizational policies.
  • Coordinate with remote support teams and vendors for complex issues.
  • Document incidents, resolutions, and technical procedures.
Experience:
  • 5–6 years of relevant experience in IT support or technical roles.
Education:
  • Technical college degree or equivalent experience.
  • Field of study: Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
Certifications Required:
  • A+ Certification
  • Server Certifications
  • OEM Certifications including at least two of the following:
  • Dell Desktop/Laptop
  • HP Desktop/Laptop/Printer
  • Lenovo Desktop/Laptop
  • Lexmark Printer
  • IBM Printer
  • Server OS Certification (as applicable):
  • MCP, MCSE, Unix/Linux, Apple Server, etc.
