ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an SAP Delivery Manager to join our dedicated EPAM team and engage in technology-driven initiatives. As an SAP Delivery Manager, you will have the opportunity to work with a leading software engineering and IT consulting firm. If you aim to gain extensive professional experience and expand your knowledge, we welcome you onboard.

EPAM has maintained a close relationship with SAP for nearly thirty years, contributing to enterprise product releases and supporting SAP's market entry over decades.
We are now expanding our consulting services in Germany and are looking for strong technical and functional consulting professionals to help us build this new service from scratch.

Responsibilities

1. Manage the design and deployment of integrated end-to-end solutions.
2. Establish a strategy for continuous delivery risk management to enable proactive decision-making throughout the delivery lifecycle.
3. Provide technical leadership to ensure sound, future-proof architecture and high-quality implementation.
4. Communicate the business value of new SAP solutions and demonstrate how they help achieve business goals.
5. Manage customer expectations and relationships, collaborating with the Account Manager to address issues.
6. Gather feedback from key business users, identify system gaps, and lead implementation of enhancements.
7. Prepare project estimations and develop comprehensive project plans.
8. Ensure governance of processes in delivery management and production as per the chosen delivery model.
9. Act as the primary point of responsibility for delivery-related matters, including escalations and upsells.
10. Build delivery timelines, analyzing dependencies across multiple streams.

Requirements

1. Solid knowledge of SAP project methodologies (ASAP, SAP Activate) and their differences.
2. Experience with SAP Solution Manager, with or without Focus Build.
3. Understanding of SAP extension principles and options.
4. Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA migration and implementation strategies.
5. Experience with Agile development and related methodologies.
6. High-level understanding of various SAP products and technologies.
7. Strong interpersonal skills and client relationship management experience.
8. Leadership skills with experience governing project delivery across stakeholders.
9. Proven ability to design and implement end-to-end SAP solutions.
10. Ability to build effective client relationships and work effectively in virtual, dispersed teams.
11. Excellent planning and management skills.
12. Experience with onshore, nearshore, and offshore delivery models.

Nice to have

1. Deep knowledge of SAP solutions and technologies.
2. Experience with Agile and Scrum development processes.
3. Understanding of SAP CI/CD approaches.
