The Opportunity:

As a Specialized Account Manager, your key objective will be to help expand Agoda’s accommodation inventory supply through new partner acquisition. You will support the expansion of Agoda’s hotel partnerships by building, establishing, and maintaining account relationships. Ideally, you should have experience in the hotel or travel industry, especially online travel. The role leverages expertise in procurement, e-commerce, revenue management, and the hospitality industry to manage Agoda’s hotel market and partnerships.

In this Role, you’ll get to:

  • Pitch, secure, and build new hotel partnerships to expand our portfolio and market footprint.
  • Communicate the value proposition and benefits of partnering with Agoda to hotel owners and management.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to showcase our services.
  • Negotiate with potential hotel partners to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms.
  • Maximize Agoda’s accommodation availability, content competitiveness, and business growth for existing hotel partners based on data.
  • Research and troubleshoot rate, availability, and support issues that prevent hotels from maximizing bookings (connectivity, rate mapping, extranet management, etc.).
  • Work closely with internal teams such as operations to onboard new hotel partners successfully.
  • Develop project ideas, identify opportunities, and implement new approaches in a data-driven environment.
  • Use innovative thinking to develop and execute solutions to unique challenges.

What you’ll Need to Succeed:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any relevant field.
  • Two to three years of proven experience in sales and business development.
  • Deep understanding of the OTA industry is preferred but not required.
  • A driven, proactive attitude in acquiring and negotiating with hotel partners to find win-win solutions.
  • Experience in acquiring, mentoring, and building long-term customer relationships.
  • Ability to think creatively and negotiate effectively with hotel partners.
  • Ability to adapt well and thrive in changing environments.
  • A professional, proactive work ethic and team-oriented attitude.
  • Strong prioritization, planning, curiosity, and an experimentation mindset.
  • Strong strategic and data analysis skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to influence stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Proficiency in German is required.
  • Capacity to travel up to 50% of the time.
