- Your Role
- Inspect correspondence, interaction summaries, and meeting minutes related to projects with external partners.
- Participate in preparing for and attending meetings with external project partners.
- Draft or support summaries of information exchanges with external partners.
- Ensure third-party rights (FTO) by conducting prior art searches, FTO analyses, and creating decision templates in collaboration with the Head of Strategic IP Coordination and the Freedom-To-Operate Analyst.
- Support the preparation of the Risk Management Meeting for decision-making.
- Initiate invalidation actions and opinions regarding third-party rights.
- Work with the Head of Strategic IP Coordination and General Counsels to identify various IPRs and differentiate between project-related and non-project-related background and foreground IPR.
- Develop strategies to secure IPR for the company.
- Conduct IP generation calls and workshops to draft invention reports and file patent applications before information exchange with external partners.
- Monitor patent application deadlines and support the filing process to prevent premature disclosure.
- Evaluate invention reports, patent applications, and patents to assist management decisions and supervise relevant patent committees.
- Conduct training sessions on mindset and awareness for technical experts involved in projects.
- Your Profile
- Degree in patent engineering, technical engineering, physics, chemistry, or science.
- Understanding of patents, designs, trademarks, and copyrights.
- Experience working with external partners.
- Enjoy working in an international and diverse team.
- Strong interest in technical issues, especially new and disruptive technologies in Vision Care.
- Ability to work precisely, meet deadlines, and manage processes.
- Excellent communication skills and a cooperative mindset.
- Fluency in both written and spoken German and English.
