Job Description:

Responsibilities

• Designing, building, and maintaining high-performance, flexible, and highly scalable Android code, both hands-on and by delegation.
• Providing technical leadership to a fast-paced and dynamic Android development team.
• Performing code reviews, evaluating, improving, and contributing to the design framework to establish standards and best practices.
• Contributing to proof-of-concept and feasibility analysis, and providing input on the technical design of new applications, systems, and architecture.
• Collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams to architect, design, develop, test, and ship innovative features for worldwide customers.
• Supporting Scrum/Agile methodologies to facilitate frequent releases of high-quality features.
• Traveling to customer sites, if needed.

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge and deep understanding of Android SDK.
• 4+ years experience in Android app development, preferably with Java.
• Excellent knowledge of object-oriented programming languages (Java, C++, C, and optionally Objective-C).
• Experience with private and public APIs for mobile applications.
• Experience in unit testing and test automation is a plus.
• Understanding of the full mobile application development lifecycle for native and HTML5 applications.
• Knowledge of various mobile application design patterns.
• Strong background in SCM, especially GIT, and Continuous Integration.
• iOS development experience is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• BSc/MS in Computer Science or related fields, or equivalent experience.
