Job Description:

We are seeking a proactive and results-oriented Principal Product Marketing Specialist (f/m/d) to join our Automotive MCU team in Düsseldorf. The role involves supporting Renesas Automotive Microcontrollers, coordinating with major automotive customers, defining and following up on product roadmaps, and supporting market introduction strategies globally.

Your responsibilities include:

1. Supporting Renesas Automotive Microcontrollers
2. Gathering and defining global customer requirements
3. Coordinating projects with automotive customers
4. Leading collaboration with technical marketing and design teams on product roadmaps
5. Supporting internal support and sales teams
6. Communicating with Renesas Japan
7. Reporting KPIs to management
8. Developing market introduction plans
9. Ensuring product package readiness and training sales teams
10. Producing marketing materials such as whitepapers and webinars

Qualifications

Your profile:

1. Graduate in electronic engineering
2. 5-10 years of relevant product marketing experience in the semiconductor industry
3. Experience in the automotive market and understanding of Carmakers and Tier 1 requirements
4. Knowledge of embedded Microcontrollers and ecosystems
5. Proven track record in product definition and requirements management
6. Understanding of marketing concepts and customer expectations
7. Strong communication skills, team-oriented, adaptable to multicultural and agile environments
8. Fluent in English; German proficiency is preferable
9. Experience with software IT infrastructure and standard PC tools (MS-Office)
10. Additional experience in automotive system design, E/E architecture, AI, customer negotiations, complex RfQ handling, MCU architecture, networking, functional safety/security, embedded software is desirable
