Job Description

You will oversee the successful delivery of a portfolio of projects led by project managers, prioritizing projects and resources to meet objectives. You may also manage some projects directly.

How you will contribute
  • Sitting in the BU Leadership Team, responsible for planning and executing projects, including capex, cash flow management, and all Business Development Projects (e.g., NPDs).
  • Ensure engineering leadership for modifying existing lines, supporting technical goals such as 85% global line efficiency and 100% vertical start-up of new lines. Lead development and execution of initiatives aligned with the site master plan.
  • Support and co-lead global and regional engineering platforms aiming for standardized line designs.
  • Develop and upgrade technical and project management skills within plant engineering teams through coaching and capability building.
  • Lead the ‘Innovation Initiative Pillar (IIM)’ within IL6S, managing Vertical Start Up (VSU) and Technical Readiness across initiatives, promoting cultural change and applying IL6S work processes.
  • Act as the key interface between sites and support functions such as regional Business Development, Engineering, Capex Procurement, Finance, R&D, Safety, Quality, and Commercial Teams. Ensure alignment of strategies and resource allocation.

Travel Requirements

2-3 times per month to different plants within the DACH BU.

Compensation and Additional Information

The salary follows the Austrian Collective Labor Agreement for the confectionery industry. The starting gross salary is EUR 103,000 per year, paid in 14 installments, with potential for overpayment based on experience and qualifications. No relocation support is available, but some assistance is provided for international moves through our Volunteer International Transfer Policy.
