Your responsibilities

• Provide expert HSSE advice to project management and development teams across Germany.
• Ensure HSSE contract requirements (including sustainability) are suitable for local legal environments and projects.
• Inspect, audit, and facilitate HSSE compliance on EPC construction sites and during pre-engineering activities (weekly travel involved).
• Support development of site construction HSSE plans, especially in multi-lot projects.
• Identify, secure, and supervise additional HSSE resources from external markets as needed.
• Collaborate with EPC contractors and support joint investigations in case of incidents to promote learning.
• Ensure physical and cyber security arrangements are appropriate and supported.
• Establish mechanisms to demonstrate regulatory compliance for the Renewables business in Germany.

Your profile

• Hold a SIFA qualification and have at least 2 years of professional experience or equivalent safety engineer status.
• Experience providing HSSE support in project environments, with knowledge of incident investigation and reporting systems.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and risks effectively.
• Strong people management skills to engage and motivate at all levels.
• Proficiency in German and English technical language.
• Experience in managing HSSE legal compliance and sustainability support, ideally in solar and wind sectors.
• Experience managing biodiversity impacts and quality assurance.
• Managing physical and cyber security for sites and businesses.
• GWO BST certification is desirable.
