Position Overview
This entrepreneurial, hands-on role offers broad exposure to CEO, COO, and CFO functions, with mentorship and support designed for a driven young professional. You will handle strategic growth, operational processes, and financial management, preparing for a senior leadership role (MD/Partner).
Tasks
Support & Drive Strategic Growth
- Define and execute growth initiatives, including business development and partnership strategies.
- Participate in setting milestones, implementing, and tracking progress toward growth.
Optimize Operations
- Streamline end-to-end asset management processes.
- Assist in implementing certification, sustainability, and tech frameworks.
Strengthen Financial Foundations
- Partner on budgeting, forecasting, and investor reporting.
- Build relationships with European professional investors and family offices.
- Participate in talent acquisition, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning through mentorship and training.
Requirements
- Experience: 3-7 years in consulting, project management, or finance, ideally with a passion for natural capital, forestry, or environmental sectors.
- Mindset: Entrepreneurial, proactive, adaptable; eager to own responsibilities and learn across functions.
- Skills: Strong analytical skills (P&L forecasting), excellent communication, stakeholder management.
- Education: Bachelor’s in business, engineering, natural resources, environmental science, or related; MBA or advanced degree a plus.
- Mobility: Willing to travel within Europe and North America as needed.
- Mentorship: Work directly with senior leadership to develop C-level competencies.
- Leadership Roadmap: Clear milestones over 18-24 months, progressing from contributor to independent MD.
- Partnership: Eligible for VSOP with performance-based vesting.
